Swackett® — a different kind of weather app App Reviews

This app used to be a lifesaver when I was traveling and needed to pack for a weekend abroad. But now, whenever I open the app it crashes immediately. I see from other reviewers that I am not the only one this has happened to. I deleted it, and wont reinstall it until a new update is released that fixes the bug. I also sent a request to Swackett to have it fixed and havent heard from them yet.

I have been a dedicated user of this app for many years - until the latest update that is. Every time I open the app, it crashes. Needless to say, I had to find another weather app until swackett gets it together.

App doesnt load, crashes whenever opened

It crashes often and even if not the u got lots of ads on your screen.

Ive been using this app for a long time- even had it on my mac before it became a phone app. Im very disappointed that the bugs havent been fixed since it was last updated- it keeps crashing right after it opens. Please fix!!!!

Everyone seems to be having crashing issues, but its working fine for me in iOS 9. I enjoy this app for its ability to quickly show me what sorts of clothes I should wear for the weather today. The widget does seem to be broken, and I wish that they had more Editions (clothes styles), but other then that it works quite well.

The larger 6 and 6 plus, 6s and 6S plus, and 7 and 7 plus phones are here, and this app still runs in the iPhone 5 scaled mode, so everything is still just comically huge or out of proportion and does not look good.

Horrible does not open keeps crashing, there are better weather apps. Dont waste your time with this POS

Very difficult to receive technical support to resolve issues. The phone app and the computer based app do not synchronize. If I add a location to the desk top app one would expect for it to synch with your mobile device, unfortunately it does not.

From what I have seen on my friends phones, this is a great app. Unfortunately every time I have tried to download it it crashes before I can even setup an account.

Ill keep it short and sweet... I use to LOVE Swackett and tell people about it. Then they changed it. My love turned to like and I quit telling people about it. Now, they changed it...again. I hate it so much Im writing my first ever app review and then promptly deleting Swackett. Bye.

Couldnt find my location in a major Chicago suburb (ie not middle of nowhere). Entered zip manually and basically whole thing just hung. Never got any weather. POS.

I had this app for a long time now, but this new version wont update my location. Seeing how I just moved cities, its pointless when I wake up to rain but the app says its sunny outside

Used to love this app but the last couple of updates have left the thing useless. Every time I open the app and it just sits there trying to request weather data and inevitably fails. Constant retrieval errors are not helpful when I want to know what the weather is or what that alert was about. The only thing that does appear to be working is the weather alerts through push notifications. But, since you cant actually retrieve any weather data theres no way to know what the alert was actually about.

The new version finally resolved my location issue with the iPhone 6. Thank you!

Another solid update. You’ve come a long was with version 2.0. Thanks for making it work on my iPhone 6! Nice job guys. Kepe them updates coming!
